Are We On The Level?

A SLT Newsletter reader sent our editor a question: “When will the SL Reservoir be refilled to its' original height?"

We reached out to the LADWP and Michael Ventre, LADWP’s Senior Public Relations Specialist, provided us with a timely answer. “The refill operation will continue at Silver Lake Reservoir at a rate of approximately 900,000 gallons per day. The current reservoir elevation is 434.2LF, and we expect the filing to continue through May 2026.”
