Betsy Isroelit, co-founder of Silver Lake Together, a longtime public relations liaison for the Hollywood Sign and a former member of the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council, has died after decades of running a successful business and serving as a leader in her community. She died from cancer at the age of 81. Her last days were spent at home in her beloved Silver Lake neighborhood surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues. All will remember her for her intelligence (without pretense), her beauty and style (without vanity), and her talent (without ego) – for her optimism and smile, which lit up the room to the very end.
