No more posters! Maybe this construction fence will stay clean of visual clutter.
For the past few years, the never- ending commercial development on the corner of Rowena and Glendale Boulevards has assaulted us with endless posters, plastered on a street-facing “security fence.” Multiple layers thick, companies pay the property owner to promote everything from movies to clothing lines. Many times discarded posters are left in the overflowing city trash can, spilling onto the street. It looks like poster gravy train may have ended. Currently, the fence is graffiti and poster free. Let’s keep our collective fingers crossed it’ll stay that way.
