The Los Feliz Neighborhood Council (LFNC) is leading an initiative to improve mobility and street safety on Hyperion and Fountain, considered by many to be one of the area’s most dangerous streets. The Avenue Plan supports four new traffic signals at priority intersections, ADA curb cuts, and high visibility crosswalks, as well as increased DASH and Metro bus options. The recommendations cover a 1.5-mile stretch of roadway from Hyperion at Rowena to Fountain at Sunset. The LFNC is asking all who would like to see a safer Hyperion to pass the action plan along.
