Nina Sorkin: 1944-2024

Nina Sorkin, a long time Silver Lake resident and community activist, recently passed away after a brief illness.

With over 40 years of service in both the public and non-profit sectors, Nina had an impressive record of giving back to the community, supporting a diverse range of causes that demonstrated her passion for helping women, children, and the homeless.
