Silver Lake Together has also received questions regarding the infamous abandoned project at 2800 Glendale. Since our last update in June 2025, not much has changed. Some exterior panels have been installed, and the protective tarps have been graffitied. This project has been in a state of disrepair for years. A permit was issued in 2017, eight years ago, and during the pandemic things went south. “We've worked through some engineering and financing issues and expect to be wrapping up this year,” said Hardy Wronske in 2024, head of Everelle Build Co., which owns the property. Well, it's now 2026 and questions to Mr. Wronske on the current status went unanswered. In August 2025, the LADBS website indicates the project was referred to the Inspection Bureau but the status was closed.

SLT encourages concerned residents to ask CD4 about the status of 2800 Glendale and say enough is enough of this blight.
