Meet Interim Senior Lead Officer Ivan Gracia

A Message for the community from SLO Ivan Gracia:

Hello, my name is Ivan Gracia, and I am the Interim Senior Lead Officer for the 11A1 area, which covers Los Feliz, Griffith Park, Atwater Village, parts of Glassell Park, and portions of Silver Lake. I am a 20-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department and have served in a variety of assignments across several divisions, including 77th Street, Newton, Hollenbeck, Olympic, Commercial Crimes, and Training Division. Over the course of my career, I have worked as a burglary specialist, surveillance and undercover officer, and served on federal task forces and gang units. I am also a court-certified expert in gangs, narcotics, and copper wire theft.

Beyond my career, I enjoy spending time on the golf course, boxing, and working on vintage cars. I am a proud father of three, husband to a wonderful wife, and a lifelong Angeleno of Mexican immigrant heritage. Being bilingual in Spanish, I value connecting with diverse

communities and am deeply committed to serving the residents of Los Angeles.
