Update on the 101 Gateway Area

David Nguyen, from the Mayor's Office, has worked with CD13 to help prioritize cleaning the 101/Silver Lake Boulevard underpass area. More frequent cleanings are underway, one having been performed this past week. While the area is significantly improved from our reporting

in the July newsletter, the area remains a hazard for those who live there and those who drive through.

Per Nguyen, the area is being scheduled for an Inside Safe program, the City's program at combatting homelessness.

SLT will continue to monitor the area and update the community.
