RV Whack-A-Mole Continues...
Silver Lake Together has received multiple questions, concerns, and calls for help with regard to a particular RV, whose owner has been using our residential streets as his personal storage facility for over a year. Residents are not pleased having this large and unsightly vehicle parked in front of their homes, for days at a time. For the last couple of months, the RV owner, after discovery of a few parking enforcement loopholes, has placed a message board in one of the wind

...as does the urban blight at 2800 Glendale!
Silver Lake Together has also received questions regarding the infamous abandoned project at 2800 Glendale. Since our last update in June 2025, not much has changed. Some exterior panels have been installed, and the protective tarps have been graffitied. This project has been in a state of disrepair for years. Slip Sliding Away
For years, soil erosion from the slopes on W. Silver Lake Dr. has covered the sidewalks south of Balmer with loose dirt. That dirt has made walking, jogging, running or using a wheelchair on that stretch of sidewalks extremely dangerous. Especially after a rain. Most pedestrians opt to walk in the street to avoid any danger, which is an even greater risk. SLT researched municipal codes to confirm what we already assumed: the responsibility of keeping these sidewalks safe and

Are We On The Level?
A SLT Newsletter reader sent our editor a question: “When will the SL Reservoir be refilled to its' original height?" We reached out to the LADWP and Michael Ventre, LADWP’s Senior Public Relations Specialist, provided us with a timely answer. “The refill operation will continue at Silver Lake Reservoir at a rate of approximately 900,000 gallons per day. The current reservoir elevation is 434.2LF, and we expect the filing to continue through May 2026.” We thank our partners a
